Testimonials

“For us one of the real strengths has been that we’ve built integrity, strength and believability, in terms of our evidence base, but also in terms of our broader strategic thinking. So for me, that would be one of the key reasons to be looking to partner with IHT and the brilliant researchers they’ve got.”

“There is just so much to do in solving the epidemic of diabetes that we face as a as a society, and no one individual organisation can do it alone… So partnerships like what we have with Deakin University are absolutely critical… We’ve got common goals, a common view of the future and what we want to achieve, but we also have some different skills and abilities to bring into the partnership.”

“It is very clear that the GLOBE (IHT) colleagues are among the world’s leaders in their fields and that they strive for scientific excellence. But what is truly remarkable about the Deakin University researchers is that they are fully aware that the ultimate impact of the work is not just limited to the quality of scientific publications, but that through their work, GLOBE very much wants to make a difference.”

“The great virtue in our in our relationship has been the two-way exchange of knowledge and information. The two organisations have had a very productive relationship and we’ve been able to really make some great inroads into areas that have been priorities for Cancer Council.”

“If we genuinely want to transform the primary health care sector and the overall health system in Australia, which desperately needs to be done, these are the sort of partners that you need, because you need the evidence base to make the changes, but you also need to partner so that you can actually do the translation on the ground. And that’s, I think, where the magic happens.”

“QPS and the Deakin Institute for Health Transformation are incredible partners, able to deliver better outcomes for our community and for our workforce as well.”
