Why become a member of the Deakin Institute for Health Transformation?

The Institute provides members with opportunities to:

• Work alongside colleagues with a shared goal of enhancing health and well-being and draw on each other’s strengths and expertise. Every member is allocated to one of our five Domains to provide a close network of support: the Australian Centre for Behavioural Research in Diabetes, Deakin Centre for Quality and Patient Safety Research, Deakin Health Economics, Deakin Advancing Health and Social Justice, or Deakin Centre for Global Preventive Health and Nutrition.
• Connect with other researchers to broaden your research focus and tackle problems from different perspectives. The Institute provides opportunities for connection through our quarterly morning teas at Burwood and Waterfront campuses and three All Members Days throughout the year held at Deakin Downtown.
• Leverage off the expertise and the reputation of the Institute and other leading researchers within the Institute.

What happens once the membership application form is submitted?

Applications will initially be considered by the Centre/Domain Director with recommendations on the level of membership subsequently approved by the Deakin Institute for Health Transformation Executive Committee. You will be contacted via email if further information is requested and notified of the outcome of the application.
